still saddened by my son 21yrs old

The year draws to an end and I am still saddened by my son.

I need to step back...turn off and I dont know how,
I hope I might find out how best to do this in 2009.

Thanks for your responses before on this....I just feel sad today with this fine young man.

Lizzie ((hugs))

To paraphrase one of my BILs - kids stop listening to their parents when they hit the teen years & don't start listening again until they are about 25. Hang in there.

Thanks KayKay your kind words are always welcome.

how did this parenting thing get to be so difficult?

I am sure the New Year will help changes. Hmm what changes?

Hope you and your little gang celebrate with happiness tonight. x

You BIL was right OK!!!

Roll on the next 4 yrs......ohhh so long!

Thanks Snafu....just have to stick it out.....just I find it hard to act in a disinterested way so its difficult to change personality from warm to cold in my case to suit his moods.

Must look for a new hobby! x
