menu planning
I've planned a weekly menu for years, but due to a job change really haven't done it for the past year. I didn't have time to do much cooking or planning
![]() I'm now no longer in that job - whew I'm looking for ideas on how to get back in my "groove"

Re: menu planning
I am so impressed by the menu planning. This is something I've never been able to do. Good luck with that!

Re: menu planning
it's a simple system .... I use a pocket chart/time schedule chart that elementary teachers use in their classrooms
there's 14 "pockets", so I have "strips" labeling each day and note cards with main course options ie tacos & corncake Once I plan the menu I make sure we have everything & if we don't I add it to the grocery list

Re: menu planning
...oh yea - this system came about because I'm disorganized and there were too many times I'd plan to make something for supper & discover we didn't have everything we needed.

Re: menu planning
It's a great system.
My system is: It's 4:30 and I have to make dinner. What do I have? That's what I'll cook. Oh, we don't have anything? Take out or go to dinner? ![]() |
