I only have 2 masks, but was thinking I have to expand my wardrobe. And work on my make up-- cat eyes?

We are starting to see a small rise here, but are expecting an explosion as people return from vacations. I am very worried and anxious because of all the foolish behavior.

We're gearing down again

Restaurants and stores are allowed 25% capacity, rather than 50% capacity; schools (in my area) will start the school year on-line.

Snafu, I hear you! We also backed down on some reopening, but no one is complying. Everybody's just running around like there's no virus. Luckily, we're still pretty low here.

All of the public schools in my area are going virtual until November, though. This is August. What will November look like if the noncompliance continues?

I told my "big boss" I was willing to work with students in person. My co-para is also willing. There is a "new" to us classroom teacher this year too.

(FYI- for newbies, I work with students who need a high level of one-on-one teaching/aren't able to access on line learning)

Our county health department ordered all schools to go virtual 11/23-11/7 because of the surge. They said it's sports and social events, so there is little support for shutting down the schools. The health department said they can't shut down the sports or social events so they will minimize the risk at school.

All schools were online right after winter break in my area. They are gradually going back to in person.
