Re: What are you reading?

How is that book? Saw the movie eons ago and it was great! Is the book as good or better than the movie?

Re: What are you reading?

I've never seen the movie so can't compare.

The book was very - interesting. It was a really good read, and I am glad to have read it. It was a little disconcerting to read a book from the standpoint of someone who is clearly mentally ill and really understand that person's viewpoint. I'm not sure how to describe it. I did a lot more skimming (over difficult parts) in that book than I normally do. It was very well written, but I was sort of scared to read carefully if that makes sense.

I would definitely recommend it though.

Yep. I have friends in reading clubs who are recommending books. Friends "gift" me books and then ask if I've read them yet. I have a pile of reading for work to do, and to top it off, someone gave me a copy of a "life time reading plan." If I live to 1000 I wouldn't get the books I currently have on my "to read" list done. <sigh>

I finished Chesterton's book on Thomas Aquinas: The Dumb Ox. Intellectuals love him. I wish he'd get to the point! lol
