This really doesn't go here - but it doesn't deserve a thread of its own
Sunday I ran into a student (almost literally  ) I used to work with about 2 years ago.He's doing well, has a job, and... as I was leaving his place of employment said "I love you Ms. Snafu" This was the encouragement I needed ... helping students is my skill

not subbing - but back to working as an assistant (at an elementary school)
When I have bus/car duty I make it a point to give an many kids complements as possible. Its so cute - this week students have been approaching me at random times to give me compliments

bwahahaha
a sub at the school (guy built like a pro basketball player) - the 1st/2nd grade class - OMG - that poor guy - you could tell who was in his class as they had gotten into the teachers stamps.....

Most of the subs at the school I'm at now are professionally dressed (notice that "most") Enter a sub who appears to be older than me & should know better .... She wears a "Dead Pool" t-shirt

Had a wonderful sub, the next to the last day of school.
One of the students was "in love" - he revelled in her attention.
