Migraines 'r Us
Growing up I never got migraines, both sibs & DM did though.
As I've gotten older I've started getting them, DS gets them as well  I recently got one unlike my "normal" migraines - the symptoms were the same/similar to a stroke. The ER rocked (I found out the "code stroke" means you bypass the wait at the ER).

I apparently got a "complex" migraine - I've just had "normal" migraines before.
The complex had a fluctuating low level pain (between 1-4 on a scale of 1-10), an odd sensation from my eye to a point on my upper lip, and slight numbness in 3 fingers. I'm going to need to research the different types of migraines, how they present and compare the symptoms to stroke - I don't want to run to the ER every time. If it happens again - I'll try to repeat of few of the "tests" they did on me (swallow, the ability to preform certain tasks)

no, and this one ended up lasting for days - the pain was low level (1-4 on a scale of 1-10) but headache meds didn't seem to help. After I drank 2 cokes it went away

With the weather fluctuating I've been getting migraines again
...and with my area going back to more restrictive corona measures I was unable to get my morning caffeine for a few days, thus yesterday I woke up with a caffeine withdrawal headache that rivaled some of my worst migraines - you know the ones that make you "toss cookies" due to pain -
