Unhappy What the heck is going on?

My Wife had to go in for surgery, our 10 year old Cat was diagnosed with kidney failure and my Friend just called this morning and told me that he found his Wife passed away next to him in bed Friday morning.
It's been a rough week folks....

Re: What the heck is going on?

I am so sorry 9mm. Things sound rough. I hope all is well with your wife and I am truly sorry to hear about your kitty and friends wife.

I think its one of those "when it rains, it poors" things. A couple of years ago i had an 18 month period like that and its tough. (Lost my bio dad, then my grandmother, then my mom, all unexpectedly, found out my sis needed open heart surgery, then I had open heart surgery, and my dog of 10 years passed, all within 18 months).

Again, I hope everything is okay with the wifey and keep us posted.

Oh no! How horrible! I'm so sorry 9mm.

There's a saying that bad things happen in threes. I don't know if that's true or not, but let's hope you're done for a while.

How did the surgery go, and what can they do about your kitty?

I am so sorry, 9mm. I hope all goes well for your wife.

I'm sorry about your friend's loss, too. Those kinds of tragedies touch us in unexpected ways.

I'm sending well wishes for all all of you.

Re: What the heck is going on?

The surgery went well Thanks.
As far as our kitty is concerned, he looks ok but has lost about 4 pounds and drinks ALOT of water. I've heard that some cats can still live about another 3 or 4 years like this. He still has energy and plays too.
It's really interesting how I knew there was something wrong...I had a really strange dream about him so I took him into the vet the very next day.

Camping has really become quite popular and let me tell you that you will definitely have a very good time in the RV parks.
