Spun "news"
(mods - I'm not sure if this belongs in this sub forum or not)
I don't know if its just me or if all national/major news seems slated - I'd love to find impartial news (just the facts) that would let me make my own interpretation. When I remember to, I try to read the BBC news online.

Re: Spun "news"
Media Bias is an American heritage. Remember the Federalist and Anti-federalist papers?
![]() I use a bias-checker sometimes to determine if a resource is good for factual reporting. I consult a few sources if I have a question about the facts. I prefer print news sources to TV, and I prefer actual TV news to "news-entertainment." The BBC is good for facts, left-leaning in opinion. PBS Newshour is known to be centrist. If you are aware of the bias, you can keep that in mind when you're consuming the resource. |

Re: Spun "news"
NPR (according to what I found) is supposed to be non-biased

Re: Spun "news"
They're actually a little left of center, but with high grades for factual reporting.

Re: Spun "news"
PBS News and the Associated Press were the least biased outlets

Re: Spun "news"
I recently realized I'm reading the news more often than I used to.
