to be 100% honest my kid derserves Better, i'm a crap dad as i have put him through a lot when i was arressted and held in prison and well when i used to self harm of cource i did it away from him but he asked me why or how i got it and but i could not tell him, he found me knocked out by a drug overdose and i was in hospital for a few days

i have hurt that kid so many times so really he derserves someone better then me mind you anyone will be better then me for him, i love him to bits but if i have to give him up to new parents as he derserves better parent i will for his benerfit as well he derserves someone better then me

do some research.... kids who have a parent abandon them have issues

(check out divorce & parenting, absence of fathers; impact of death of a parent - my DSD's mom died - SHE will never be able to touch her again, etc. & if you think it doesn't impact kids being "left" behind, think again. MY DS used to want his dad (my ex) to live with me and my 2nd DH -kids, in general, WANT their parents - kids often base their self-worth on how they percieve their parents value them)

well if he is given better parents maybe his self-worth will be more better as i will make sure the new parents will vaule him, as my self worth is very bad i can only think of the impact its having on him
