mean "girls" in the work place

I work with some very wonderful people and I can learn a lot from them.

That being said there are also a few "mean girls" at work.

I ended up speaking to someone (after I left a meassage for my supervisor - still not heard back). Co-worker told me that its just not me, that with "mean girl" you can breath the wrong way (not litterally, but you get the picture).

Re: mean "girls" in the work place

So difficult when you have a job you love, but there are people who you don't get on with. What i've found, having worked in one place for a long time, is that if you don't generally get complaints about your work and attitude, but there are people you have trouble with, almost everyone who works with them will have the same issues. Sometimes all you can do is tollerate them and drink when you get home, lol.

Re: mean "girls" in the work place

Men are so much easier to work with. My wife used to work in an almost all female environment. Her words: "bunch of drama queens." She is no longer an active participant of the work force and is much happier.

So am I.

Re: mean "girls" in the work place

I used work with all men and I loved it.
However, they could be *****y about each other among themselves.

I loved those long ago days.

Mean girl did something at work she shouldn't have & I reported it.

Supervisor has spoken to her, but she has to know I'm the one who told. (eeek - snafu grits teeth)

Re: mean "girls" in the work place

I just remembered - I played mean girl "BINGO" at work today (just in my head - I left the card I made in my car)

As mean girl is POed at me I thought of several different things she'd probally do today .... and used them to fill in a BINGO card

I got a double bingo today!!!

Now I gotta figure out what I "win"

That's funny! But really sad too. I like your sense of humor about it though.
