Re: Padlock- is this normal for a girl in her twenties in foster care to have message
Mrs X, in the U.S. foster care is only granted for adults who can't take care of themselves. If the GF is legitimately in foster care it means she is a vulnerable adult. The foster mom would be well within her boundaries to check messages if she had reason to suspect that the vulnerable adult was being taken advantage of.

Re: Padlock- is this normal for a girl in her twenties in foster care to have message
Sounds like what we would term "Supported living" - but it is community-based care. This would typically be a house, but with paid - usually qualified - staff as carers. Only the truly vulnerable would be living like this, and it is really hard on the staff, too. Police and emergency psychiatric staff available all the time for backup, etc.
outgoingcutie15, I would also wonder about your guy friends involvement with this girl. Huge red warning signals. *I'd still be concerned about monitoring an adult's phone in this situation to be honest, unless they had convictions that involved misuse of a phone. |
