My mom does not have covid, but is in hospice. She's been there for 3 weeks and is declining.
Thank you everyone who has given me support in the past.

They currently have a quarantine due to a stomach bug (in 3 of 5 wings).
They have allowed me to see her thru her bedroom window. I'm hoping the quarantine is lifted soon. I did get her a mother's day gift early - a bird feeder that uses suction cups to attach to windows. I also got her a small flower arrangement. The hospice organization is awesome - their goal is to pamper her (therapeutic massages; if she wants a fried egg for breakfast, they'll get her a fried egg)

I was so pitiful they have let me in & I have been seeing her daily.
She is declining and most likely won't make it to mother's day. I tell her every day "thank for ....." & "I love you"

Mom passed this morning, I was with her when she went.
I'm doing ok right now.

Thanks,
Mom is no longer living a life of quantity over quality. My DS visited her 2 weekends in a row, before she started declining, and mom got phone calls from 1 of my sisters (twin), all the granddaughters, and great-grandchildren.
