Re: Essential Oils, Tinctures and Tea - oh my
I use some more common EO for help with sinus headaches (peppermint, lavender) and insect bites (tea tree). I'm not a connoisseur though...

Do you use a diffuser?

Yes. I do. I love the floral oils. I also love the rosemary and lavendar!
I use a blend of oils and homeopathy for headaches that I found online. Then, I purchased a sleep oil and use it on the pups! I think I went a tad overboard - as usual. I like to add the anti-aging wrinkle smoother ones to my facial lotions. My dog even has his own ![]() How about you?

Re: Essential Oils, Tinctures and Tea - oh my
I don't use a diffuser because other family members don't like the smell. Every so often, if I get a bad enough headache, I'll add EO to water in a pot and boil it on my stove (leaning in to the steam), or use it in a facial steamer I have.
I mostly use EO mixed with a carrier oil or, like you, with my facial lotions. I have recently purchased a sleep blend which I am considering mixing in a spray bottle and squirting on our pillows at night. DH and I don't have trouble sleeping though, so I'm not sure I need it. LOL. But tell me more about the anti-aging, wrinkle smoothing oils! I didn't know those existed!

Re: Essential Oils, Tinctures and Tea - oh my
I recently discovered that EOs can be used to help clean (ex tea tree oil can kill mold/mould and mildew) as well as lift your mood
Once I find some (on sale) I'll fil ya'll in on how it worked

Re: Essential Oils, Tinctures and Tea - oh my
I am now adding these things to just about everything...food included but must be careful with that.
There are like FOUR different frankinsenses *boswellia. and I love them all. My favorite is carterii. It is in ALL of my night facial creams...
