A favorite quote that I try to remember, but sometimes forget
When at a crossroads “go with your gut”. Intuition always has our best interests at heart. It is a voice that can tell you who is friend and who is foe, which ones to hold at arm’s length and which ones to keep close. But too often we become distracted by fear, doubt and our own stubborn hopes and refuse to listen.

Both of those are true! I generally like all of Mr. Roger's!

I like all of those also. All true! The first quote and the one's I listed below all came from a show I watched, Revenge, which followed the same theme as "The Count of Monte Cristo".
Here are two more favorites of mine from the same show. "Within each of us is the capacity for both good and evil. But those who are able to blur the moral dividing line hold the true power." "Remember, inside the vipers nest, you too must be a viper." |

Re: A favorite quote that I try to remember, but sometimes forget
... my tag line is my favorite, which is a paraphrase of a quote by George Santayana or Winston Churchill (depending on sources)

snafu - I like that one also. Here's a twist on it for you. "Those of us who refuse to forget the past are condemned to relive it"
