I've also realized that I sigh a lot when I'm around DM - it used to be a habit, now it seems that I relapse when I'm around DM great... and she always has to comment on it ...

yeah - I was good too....I really wanted to point out that she was doing it too - however, the fact that she does it does not negate the fact that I do it (I realized that I would have been "blameshifting"- is that the correct term?)

This is what DM does (& so do I) - she'll repeat entire conversations

ex:

Well, Sue said blah, blah, and blab;
then I said twitter, twitter, twit.
Then she said yappity, yappity, yap.
I think ____, and told her yack, yack, yackity.

At least 2 phone calls a day, pouting and temper tantrums when things don't work out my way... I don't want to, but I'm skeered.

as kids learn from the behavior parents model does that every really stop.... or does it continue as we get older?
