DH and I start dance class this week


Anyone else take dance? What kind?

I took up ballet a few years ago. Loved it! I'm far too tall for it and too big really but it's so lovely.

I just do aerobics now.

what type of dance are you doing Snafu?

Swing

I'd love to do latin and ballroom... maybe once I get swing down (DH already knows how) we can try the others (I have some latin down and can do some ballroom if I have a strong lead)

I loved dance class, but it seems events conspired against us


1st class = snowed out, but time was added on to the others to make up time

3rd & 5th classes I was sick

last class is in a few days - I was so lost after missing the first class, that I don't know if I want to go to the last class (as DH & I will have missed 2 of the 4 classes that were actually held)

Belly Dance is awesome!
When I first started I was told that it's a method of preparing for childbirth. One of the girls was 7 months pregnant, thought she would shake the baby right out of her but it's actually really healthy.

One of the neighbors went to a dance party in someone's basement. I think she had another idea of "Swing."
