Back in the dark ages I quit my fast food restaurant job...when I tried to turn in a uniform, they refused as they didn't have a record of me having it :cool:

Orchids

I'm attempting orchids - I've alway thought they were beautiful.

MIL and I had a Walmart run, then we did a "dry run" of what I'd need to do at home.

She'll be coming to my home Monday & Friday for steps 2 & 3.


We may go to an open air market sometime too....

...oh yea - this system came about because I'm disorganized and there were too many times I'd plan to make something for supper & discover we didn't have everything we needed.

it's a simple system .... I use a pocket chart/time schedule chart that elementary teachers use in their classrooms

there's 14 "pockets", so I have "strips" labeling each day and note cards with...

I've planned a weekly menu for years, but due to a job change really haven't done it for the past year. I didn't have time to do much cooking or planning :(

update on the insurance - I told DS that he could contact his step-mom as she is more responsible

He happily did & his ins. card should be arriving soon (step-mom had an extra one)

Lucy - I know this is old, but CLR worked to remove the hard water buildup from my dishwasher... and the washing machine (our water was 8 before we got the water softener)

I've made progress - the living areas of the house are clean (for the most part); baseboards in 3 rooms are clean, closets in 2 rooms organized, and I've started on things in the yard that bother me....
