Re: Holiday Parties

I very much understand what you mean. I love the idea of large family gatherings; the reality of it not so much. :)

Happy Holidays to you, Creme!

Re: Has anyone used a temperature tracking app to try and conceive?

I don't know about the apps, but using the basal body temperature method to track fertility is much older than the apps! It is not an exact science and should ideally be combined with another method...

Re: What's your ideal Saturday?

Re: First post and living situation advice

I think you need to do two things:

1) Have a sit-down and agree to ground rules to ensure both privacy and respect for other people in the house. This is where you decide who is cleaning what...

Re: Kids Shoes

This is a really bad idea. Two sizes up is too big. They are a tripping hazard. The shoes will not wear properly.

Re: Birthday cards/presents

No, not even the website.

If you want to send gifts less than $10 to everyone in your family, I suggest you get discount movie tickets from your local township. You can also order bulk discounts...

Re: Tales from the sub

OMG! That's funny! I call it the "round box of tissues!" :D

Around here, kids are supposed to bring in a box of tissues and wipes to their homeroom, from K to 12.

She's very funny, though. We laugh at her all the time.

We were wondering why she smelled so bad. Then I saw her rolling in the yard and when I found what it was,...

Re: Adult family living with parents & $ problems! Help!

My advice is exactly what you'd expect: move out.

Your parents are landlords. You have no authority to tell them how to spend the rent money, or complain if they aren't charging others the same...

I am more concerned with this:

What are you dealing with? What makes you feel like the black sheep?

Re: best friend dilemma LONG

Managing friendships isn't easy.

It sounds like your friend has her own issues. Unfortunately, her behavior probably triggers your insecurity even though it may have nothing to do with you. In...
