Re: Is it appropriate for a married man to be with his ex-wife so frequently?

I've been trying to think of something to say about this situation and I really can't come up with anything. :/ So I went back and read another of your old posts where you were confused about your...

Re: Princess

Re: Dallas tornado

My DS lives about 11 miles from where it touched down. He's okay - didn't even have a power interruption.

Re: shopping - hold me back

Re: Best way to drink soda

 Really? Why's that?

My kids drink fountain drinks without a straw if we're at a restaurant. :o Not so if we're in the car. I wish I had not used straws throughout most of my life,...

Re: Best way to drink soda

Hmmm. Well, it's best not to drink sodas at all ;) but if you're willing to include a large iced tea in the category I'll play.

It's not at all eco-friendly (and I usually try to be) but my...

Re: Passive-aggressive saboteur in the work place

I wonder if a little "Bless Your Heart" is in order? I know that's not your style Lucy, but a smile with a "Did you need help understanding the instructions?" might go a long way if the person...

Re: Natural Hair lightening

I'm just letting my hair go gray. LOL. :D

There are some natural (botanical extract) shampoos that may help you achieve the look you want without bleach. You might want to research those. I use...

Re: Estranged sibs & death

I think about that from time to time. I'm sure my brother will tell me if one of my estranged sisters passes. But I won't know if they're ill, or if he dies first I won't know if they die.

It's...

Re: References-- what to do?

Truth (if I get a vote).

"She volunteered for me part-time ten years ago for about an hour per week and I had no issues with her."

Are we sure this isn't a phishing scam?

Re: question(s) for parents of college kids

Chardonnay.

They won't be strangers for long, snafu! Don't worry. I roomed with strangers when I went off for college. Everyone is in the same boat.

Re: Paperwork questions

I keep things a lot longer than that.

It really depends what you use bank statements for, and what kind of electronic access you have. Some people who are self-employed might run income/expenses...

Re: Princess

Check her litter box... she may be constipated. As cats age, arthritis makes it difficult for them to use the litter box.

My sole remaining cat is 19. She went through that decreased appetite...

Re: Am I a monster for hating my mother?

Exactly. Mr Eko, you owe your mother nothing. Don't feel bad about it, don't worry about other people's opinions. But like Lucy says, seek out therapy to build the self-esteem that she should have...

Re: Album: Weight of these Wings, Miranda Lambert
