It's the cat. Again.
Having "won" the battle over the kitty litter, a week later she took to pooing on our bed. Oh, that would surprise everyone. So, she got banned from the rest of the house for a week, but could have free access to the washhouse.

Last Saturday night, she could hardly walk on the previously-broken-but-now-healed leg. (She broke it badly and it got wired&plated&screwed in Jan this year). She got shut in the wash house for the night, and seemed fine on Sunday morning. Got home from work on Monday night, and she's barely walking again. Grrr, vets visits, X-rays, Specialists visits, (total $550) and the result? - She must have bruised it. Keep her quiet for a couple of weeks.

Oh she's dumb. I love her, but she's dumb.

HOWEVER, there is always a silver lining. She is now using the kitty litter in the wash house!. :D

Awwww... your poor kitty. Hope she gets better soon.

(It's possible that she's smarter than you're giving her credit for, Mrs. X. ;) Seems like she was showing you who's boss!)

I asked a Vet once if cats and dogs can be retarded. The Vet said "yes."

I think your cat fits.

I'm not anti-cat. I think cats are pretty cool. I had cat growing up. I used to put my cat on top of the refrigerator, take a big box and place a bath towel over the open end and push it up next to the refrigerator. I would then sit down and wait for the cat to jump on the box. It would - every single time.

Cats can swim too.

Last cat I had was stolen. Great cat! Had an extra toe on each paw (all four). Cat would literally gives us hugs. I could drape the cat over my neck and it would just stay there. Never had a cat so laid back. We had a neighbor who offered to buy the cat from us; I refused. They moved and the cat disappeared. :(

Mrs. X, I know how you feel. Our cat ate a sewing needle once and it cost us a lot of money to remove it. Luckily, it lodged in a hairball and didn't cause any damage. We also spent a ton of money to have an impacted hairball removed. Then, when the cat was about 17, he stopped using the litter box. The vet said he was "mad" at me. Well, when he peed on the bed right next my sleeping head, I got "mad" at him and put him in the basement where his food and litter box were. A week later, he was extremely ill, and we took him to the vet again where he died later that day. It cost us $500 for them to tell us the cat died from a urinary tract infection. That's why he wouldn't use the litter box and liked the soft bed. :(

I hope kitty feels better soon and continues to use the kitty litter.

She seems in much less pain today. :) Poor kitty, hopefully she will be fine in another week.

Thought i'd answered this sorry. She came right, even through some quite cold days, although we haven't really been having a very cold winter. :)

Has been fairly good about the kitty litter. :D
